ANGLETON - Smoking no longer is allowed on the roof of the Brazoria County Courthouse.
County commissioners this week designated smoke-free a pair of fifth-floor, open-air areas connected to the former county jail. The two "patio" areas are on the courthouse roof between the old and new parts of the building and are separated by an enclosed hallway, County Judge E.J. "Joe" King said in commissioner's court Tuesday.
