HITCHCOCK - A Hitchcock school board member who refused a request by fellow board members and parents to resign for discussing sex with an assembly of middle-school girls has filed to run for re-election, her pastor said Tuesday.

Shirley Price filed for re-election Monday, the last day, after seeking advice from the Rev. S.D. Siverand, pastor of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Siverand said.
