The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's opinion in identifying a large bank robber who pushed and shoved his way to the teller counter during a robbery late yesterday afternoon at the Amegy Bank at 7071 Lawndale in Houston.
At 4:30 yesterday afternoon, "Big Bully" entered the bank and began aggressively pushing and shoving customers out of his way as he moved toward the teller counter. He pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol, and pointed it directly at tellers as he demanded they put cash into a blue bag he threw down on the counter. "Big Bully" then grabbed the bag and the cash and fled the bank on foot.
Witnesses said "Big Bully" is a black bully, 27-35 years old, 5'11" to 6'00" tall, 220-240 pounds, heavy build, and was wearing a dark colored baseball cap turned backward, a dark brown tee shirt with yellow lettering.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of "Big Bully" or any felony criminal. If you have information about this case, or recognize this suspect, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS.
