CORPUS CHRISTI - A Corpus Christi woman told jurors Tuesday what she was thinking about when she was slashed across the neck, and 24 more times, by a former lover.
She didn't think about the pain.
"I kept thinking about my children and how I could survive for them," said Cassandra Perez, who suffered deep stab wounds all over her body.
Perez, who bears thick, dark scars on her arms, told jurors she wants Guadalupe "Andrew" Cervantes to be punished for what he did.
