PEARLAND - Where are the police when you need them?  How many time have we heard that one?

Tuesday afternoon in Pearland they were there when they were needed and captured two robbers in a store before they robbed the place.

Here's how according to Lieutenant Onesimo Lopez.  About 8:20 in the morning, the Pearland Police dispatcher got a call from the Dollar General Store on North Main reporting two masked men entering the store.

Police were dispatched and within minutes had the store surrounded, went in and snatched the two bandits, masks, gloves, pistols and all.

The moral of this story is, if you go into a store in Pearland dressed like a robber, chances are you'll have a short career.

Comments:

Our guys in P-land really have a fast response time. Even on non-emergency calls.
